Needless to say the course has been unplayable for over a week now and it will take some time to recover once the east coast lows go away. We will review the course condition this Friday and make a decision and let you know. As previously posted you can go to the BGC website to get the Status of the Course, see below: Arthur BrasseyTrophy - single knockoutTwenty one players signed up for the Arthur Brassey handicap match play knock out. The draw is on the notice board as well as below. Results are to be entered into MiClub computer terminals either at the Clubhouse or Pro-Shop. An informal presentation took place last Saturday in the Club House after the competition to celebrate the achievements of our 2021 Champions. Course Update...UPDATE _ WEDNESDAY Preferred Lies are back. The course is wet again!!!!!. The bell on the 8th hole has been moved down to the bridge at the start of the path - give it a ring on your way past. The 9th hole GUR and Penalty Area stakes have been moved due to the area recovering from last May's drainage work. The GUR area is smaller and more of the drain is a penalty area. Dad's Army have been, as always, working with Matt to continuously improve the course and club house surrounds. Below the platoon has removed the plastic path on the 9th as it is no longer required. The plastic pavers will be redeployed to other areas of the course. Also, a steel edging has been installed around the garden adjacent to the putting green. Well done to Anton and the team.
