![]() Our intrepid group of loyal club volunteers known as Dad's Army, took some well earned leave at the Bigga Pub for their annual get together. Ably led by Peter Hannaford, this group attend to course requirements each Thursday morning for about 2 hours followed by the mandatory mid morning coffee. Each year the group have a retreat away to ponder on their successes in past year and to plan their targets for the coming year. Missing from the photo, is photographer, David Boyd. Any members wishing to join this illustrious group would be made most welcome. ![]() Members would have noticed the new shield that adorns the Members Room. The Ladies Pennants team were successful in beating all comers in the Bronze Shield Pennants competition, which includes the ACT, Goulburn and the Highlands. This shield has not been won by Bowral since 1934, which makes their win all the more magnificent. Congratulations to all those involved, especially Chris Hill, the organiser and team captain. Maybe the White Horse Cup team can get some tips on winning. |
