 Robert Eriksson winner of the Arthur Brassey Handicap knockout Trophy with opponent, Pascal Timores The 2017 handicap knockout match-play for the Arthur Brassey Trophy has been fought for and won by Robert Eriksson over Pascal Timores on Sunday. It was an evenly matched event throughout and square after the first 18 holes. Moving to the 19th hole, Pascal put his tee shot out of bounds from which he could not recover. Robert went on to win the hole, the match and the day and was jubilant in his success. Pascal, forever the gentlemen, was glorious in defeat. Thank you to David Boyd for refereeing on my behalf. Presentation of the Arthur Brassey Trophy will be made to Robert at next Saturday's normal presentation at approximately 5.15pm. The draw for the J.W. Draper Trophy Foursomes Knockout has been completed and a copy is attached. All teams in the first round must have their matches played by Sunday 30th April 2017. The team listed second in the match is responsible for arranging the tee times and recording of the scores. Good luck to all entrants. 
Entries are still open for the Bruce Smith Challenge Cup on Sunday 30th April at Moss Vale. We still need another 7 teams of two to compete. This is a great event and chance to represent your club against Moss Vale on their own turf. We can and will win, however we need you. Please register at the Pro Shop. I would encourage all White Horse Cup players to register as a show of support to Moss Vale Golf Club. It doesn't matter when we beat them, it is that we were there to compete.
