Signs are on the 8th tee and a notice will be on the first tee as well.

As of this Saturday, the 29th of July, Preferred Lies are being replaced with Play As It Lies apart from the 8th Hole.

Signs are on the 8th tee and a notice will be on the first tee as well. Dave Burgess Doug Stalley passed away on 23rd of July at Bowral Private Hospital 97 years old. Doug graduated from Adelaide University with a Master of Economics degree in 1955. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and spent 2 years at Columbia University in the US before continuing in his academic career in Australia. After retiring Doug farmed before moving to live in Bowral.
Doug joined our club in 1988 and was first elected to the board in 1992 and then vice president in 1994 and 1995. In 1996 he succeeded Don Lawson as President. Doug was a keen golfer and always wanted to play his age - the nearest he got was when he was 91 with a gross 93. Doug also was a keen bridge player, playing at the club on Friday mornings. Doug was the author of the book on the history of our club "Bowral Golf Club 1901-2001". Douglas Stalley - rest in peace. Provided by Kevin Burke. Well done to Wayne Knapp and Geoff Alcock becoming the 2023 Foursomes Champions. Congratulations on your “back to back” wins. A strong 5 & 4 win. Commiserations to Sam Mulholland and James Pinkstone.
