Robert Eriksson winner of the Arthur Brassey Handicap knockout Trophy with opponent, Pascal Timores
The 2017 handicap knockout match-play for the Arthur Brassey Trophy has been fought for and won by Robert Eriksson over Pascal Timores on Sunday. It was an evenly matched event throughout and square after the first 18 holes. Moving to the 19th hole, Pascal put his tee shot out of bounds from which he could not recover. Robert went on to win the hole, the match and the day and was jubilant in his success. Pascal, forever the gentlemen, was glorious in defeat. Thank you to David Boyd for refereeing on my behalf. Presentation of the Arthur Brassey Trophy will be made to Robert at next Saturday's normal presentation at approximately 5.15pm. All are welcome to share in Roberts success.
Alan Turpie, winner Robert Eriksson, Pascal Timores and his son.
