We have reached the Winter Solstice, the day of the year, when we are furthest from the Sun… no wonder it feels cold on the first tee. Hopefully some warmer and drier days ahead. Recent rains while being relatively light falls (13 mm and 17 mm) has resulted in a very wet course and unfortunately carts cannot be used on the course till it dries some more. As usual, I have a drainage update below... some good news. |

Landscaping Materials Wanted...

Golf Course Update
| After a few weeks wait, the council contractor arrived this morning to clear the blocked stormwater drain under the 15th fairway. The truck has a high pressure water pump (plus 200 metres of hose) which drives a steel cutter and sprays to cut through the tree root which had completely blocked the drain. In addition, our drain from the dam spillway to the 13th pond was also cleared of tree roots. A successful morning with both drains flowing freely. |
