Matt's team and Dad's Army turfed the "old water feature" left side of the 3rd green and the 16th fairway area last Thursday. These areas will be top dressed to complete the work in the near future. See photos below... These areas are GUR.
Club Championships - Round 1
A good Wednesday field of 63 players competed in the multiplier event. The winners with 108 points were David McGinnes, Dennis Cooper & Ken Dobie with the runners up Wayne Meadth, Peter Cottee & David Burgess with 107. Patrick Lane was the individual winner with 43 points.
Tony Hobson won the 11th hole NTP; Wayne Meadth won the 6th hole Eagles Nest & Simon Kemp won the 14th Pro-Pin - how that was not a hole-in-one ???
Thank you to all our members who have had to put up with an unprecedented year of wet course conditions which limited access to the course for much of the year. As a result last Saturday was a "comp fee" free day and special prizes. A very good field of 107 competitors enjoyed the great golfing conditions.
