Unfortunately the Presentation Night Dinner has had to be cancelled. The reason is the risks associated with the current COVID-19 situation. The club is very conscious of keeping our members and guests safe. As the email sent to members today stated, a more informal presentation to Championship winners will be held, in conjunction, with the presentation on Saturday the 19th of February. I know a lot of members were looking to catch up with friends for the dinner, unfortunately we will have to wait till things improve.

Match Play - never give up... I will share with you one hole from my round yesterday at Gibraltar, the reason being that "you never give up in match play". The 4th hole down the hill looking over Bowral, first tee shot has gone into Cherry Tree Hill thanks to a cut on the ball taken by the southerly. Provision ball is better and on the fairway. Next shot had to be good to have any chance, 7 iron into the wind - the result is the photo on the right. Hole halved in 5. All good fun. Have a great week, Dave Burgess PS BGC's internet is back up and running... |
