Dave Thomas presenter extrordinaire On Sunday 48 loyal members attended a trivia afternoon at the club. Following an excellent buffet lunch provided by external caterers, Centennial Winery Restaurant, we invited our guest presenter, local artist Dave Thomas, to take control. Little did we know (or some did) that the presenter, was not only an awesome compere and Trivia Master, he was a very talented comedian, singer and story teller. The questions asked were wide and varied and delivered with humor and timing, which kept the audience enthralled throughout the afternoon. Dave put in a fabulous effort and many hours of homework to allow such a professional afternoon of entertainment and did so as a generous gesture. In order to support Dave, he was requested to bring a painting he had completed for auction, which was purchased by our very generous, President, Kevin Burke. The winners on the day were all our members who were there as it was a fun filled day and we are already looking forward to the next event. Dave is an avid golfer and we will work on him to join our club.
