9th & 8th Fairway Drainage Project
As you are aware the drainage project for the 9th and 8th fairways will commence on Monday 24th May at 7:00am, with the expected duration of one week. Some minor follow-up work is expected beyond this timeframe. We are calling on volunteers to lend a hand during the week. Whatever time you can spare would be greatly appreciated. If you can contact me on bgcclubcaptain@gmail.com specifying availability and skills I will be able to build up a roster. Also, let me know what tools you can bring, such as, wheelbarrows, shovels, spades etc. This week materials will be stockpiled in a lay down area in the vicinity of the Telstra tower. In addition, there will be building materials positioned around the construction areas but out of the line of play. A temporary green for the 8th hole and tee box for the 9th hole will be set up for that week. Thanks for your understanding regarding this work, it is important for the ongoing course condition and playability. |
